NO-BAKE OREO TRUFFLES
Yield: Makes 24 truffles 1 inch
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Golden Oreo packages (12 cookies), finely crushed
  • 1/2 package regular Oreo (12 cookies), finely crushed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cut in half
  • White chocolate candy melts *, melted
  • Sprinkles, nonpareils, sanding sugars and/or, for garnish

Direction:
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. In food processor or blender, grind the two separate flavors of Oreo crumbs to smooth. Transfer crumbs to two separate large bowl. Mix crumbs with half a bowl of both cream cheese (4 oz. each), until well mixed.
  3. Shape into balls (1-inch) 24 and place to a baking sheet prepared. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the white chocolate according to package directions. Dip balls into chocolate, place it on a cookie sheet, and immediately top with sprinkles or decorating as desired. (I found the wood skewer to help with dip! Just stick to the truffle, stir in the chocolate, and place on a sheet).
  5. Chill for at least 20 minutes to allow chocolate to set. Keep refrigerated before serving, cold stores and up to 5 days.
  6. Enjoy!
