White Christmas Margarita #Christmas

The holidays never tasted so desirable! Our White Christmas Margarita has all of the flavors of a widespread margarita with the addition of white cranberry juice and coconut. Make it for 2 or a crowd and positioned a little bit of tropical in your wintry weather cocktail.



I love my margaritas all 12 months lengthy, Carrot Margaritas for spring, Watermelon Margaritas for summer season and Apple Cider Margaritas for  fall, but these days I wanted to make one a little extra wintery to assist me get within the Christmas spirit way down right here in sunny Florida. And, being a Floridian, we've got masses of cocktails centered around coconut cream and cranberry juice so it seemed like no-brainer to add them to what I call my White Christmas Margarita.

Now, somehow I needed to try to preserve this drink on the white side, due to the fact that i was sure and decided to name this a White Christmas Margarita, so using normal cranberry juice simply wasn’t going to work. but wager what i found? They truly make a white cranberry juice! Woohoo! perfect answer!

I must have made as a minimum three or 4 unique batches (wheeeee!) yup, I needed to strive all of them, until I were given simply the right quantities of each factor to make it taste incredibly tropical & scrumptious. It’s basically a widespread margarita with the addition of white cranberry juice, coconut cream and, if you like (which i like) coconut rum too.

The holidays in no way tasted so correct! Our White Christmas Margarita has all of the flavors of a standard margarita with the addition of white cranberry juice and coconut. Make it for two or a crowd and put a bit little bit of tropical for your wintry weather cocktail.
Servings: 2 cocktails

Ingredients

  • 2+ Tablespoons agave nectar (depending on sweetness desired)
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup Cointreau (you could also use Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup white cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup coconut rum (optional)
  • Garnish: coconut flakes, coarse salt, lime slices

Directions

  1. In a large shaker, combine all components. Shake well.
  2. Grind coconut flakes and salt so they're a touch finer. area on flat plate.
  3. Run a lime wedge round edge of glasses and dip into coconut-salt mixture.
  4. Vicinity ice cubes (for decorative ice cubes see notice underneath) in 2 glasses. Divide contents among glasses.
  5. Garnish edge of glass with a slice of lime.

Recipe Notes

To make ornamental ice cubes, area three pomegranate arils & a small sprig of rosemary in ice dice tray. Fill each cavity with water and freeze.
