One of my favorite desserts is the eclair! They are not too hard to make but it is time consuming.
Well, today I have a deceitful way for you to make some éclairs. They only take 5 ingredients to make with one of them being the mini croissants. It gives you results that are similar to shell éclair without work.
Recipe makes 24 eclair but recipe can easily be cut in half if necessary. This will be a great Valentine's treat!
Materials
- 2 (3.4 oz) box instant French vanilla pudding
- 1½ cups milk
- 2½ Cups heavy cream
- 24 mini croissants
- 1 (16 oz) can of chocolate frosting (I prefer Pillsbury chocolate fudge)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, milk cream and heavy.
- Whisk together until smooth.
- Let set for a few minutes while you slice croissants in half.
- Fill each with croissant dough pudding. You can spoon on or pipe it on.
- Microwave frosting in second intervals 10 to the consistency of a glaze. Spread or Drizzle frosting over each eclair making croissants, 24.
