Ingredients

  • 8 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups low- fat sour cream
  • 2 -10 oz low - fat cans of mushroom soup
  • 2 cup low- fat sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 2 small onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Garnish
  • sprig of fresh dill optional


Instructions
  1. Cook finely chopped onions in 1/2 cup butter in microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix all remaining ingredients together, then add onion with butter and combine.
  3. Cook (uncovered) at 350 degrees F for 1.25 hours.
  4. Slow Cooker: 
  5. Follow same directions and cook in slow cooker/crock pot  (covered) for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
