This gluten-free Christmas tree brownies are fun ways to celebrate the Festival.
I think this is just the prettiest little thing! How you decorate them fully flexible, well-I drizzled with white chocolate and topped with a candy cane.
This is the second of the three recipes I mentioned that includes candy cane. I originally only planned to make ordinary brownies but seeing a great idea to make the brownies into the shape of a Christmas tree (thanks, Sam!) and here we are!
Gluten free Christmas tree Brownie
Materials
- 75 g butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons brewed coffee (cold)
- 3 tablespoons yogurt Greece
- 110 g wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 120 g brown sugar
- 1.5 tablespoons coconut flour
- 40 g cocoa
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate (baking soda)
- 1-2 tablespoon milk if needed
- Decoration
- 100 g white chocolate (melted)
- 8-10 candy cane
Instructions
- Melt the butter and let it cool.
- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C and grease a square or a square cake tin.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, coconut, sugar, Flour, cocoa and baking soda and stir until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the yogurt Greece, coffee, butter, and vanilla, and then add to the dry ingredients. Stir well to make sure everything is well combined. Coconut flour has a tendency to absorb a lot of moisture, so if you feel the dough you can benefit from 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk, add it in now.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Tin and bake for about 15 minutes. It's a bit longer than I would usually bake brownies to but you will need it to be a little firmer when decorating later.
- Leave in the Tin for about 10 minutes and then place in the refrigerator or the freezer until the cake begins to harden (this makes it easier to cut and then decorate).
- Remove from the Tin and Brownie cut a triangular shape. Don't stress too much about them all being the same size as my calculations when it cut a little and I all different shapes. In fact, do not have the same size makes them look cool when lying next to each other on the tray!
- My Brownies really softened quickly, so after you have cut them, you may want to pop them back in the refrigerator while you prepare the decoration. First, melt the chocolate in a Bain Marie white. Meanwhile, break the tops of candy cane hooked you need (how many trees You have Brownie) and crush them with a rolling pin. Crushing hooks with rolling pin and set to one side.
- Take each triangle brownies and very gently push the candy cane in the middle of the longest edge. Be very careful, especially if soft brownies!
- Drizzle (or a pipe if you want to be testing) chocolate brownies and sprinkle with crushed white candy cane. I also added some golden ball as frills, but not required!
- Put it back in the fridge to harden the chocolate brownie and a little more. Note that the hole where the candy cane is driven to become a bit loose, brownies and candy cane will eventually fall out, so don't hold them by the cane.
