  • For the Patties:
  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 4 tsp. ketchup
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
*For the Gravy:
  • 4 Packets Brown Gravy Mix
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 2 tsp. ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  1. Combine all the patty ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with your hands until all ingredients are incorporated well. Divide the meat into 8 portions and form the patties.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp. of olive oil in each skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place the patties in the heated oil and cook on both sides until no longer pink.
  4. Reduce the temperature to low.
  5. Whisk the gravy mixes and hot water in a medium until well blended. Add the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and whisk some more. Pour half of the gravy mixture in each skillet.
  6. Allow to simmer until gravy warms and thickens. About 5 minutes.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes and with your favorite sides.
Recipe Notes :
I am doing manifold of the freehand recipe to change 8 patties because I hit a whopping blood, so if you are only wanting to do 4 patties vindicatory thin all the ingredients by half. Since I am making 8 patties I testament beggary 2 skillets.
